Some games (generally Arcade and N64) require you to change the emulator used for a specific game if there are some compatibility issues or if it just returns to the menu when trying to start it.
We try to do this for you, but are unable to test each game, and as emulators are updated, compatibility changes.
- Start the game that isn’t working.
- On the launch screen, keep pressing A. The timing is just after the launch screen. So just keep pressing A.
- A blue and grey screen will pop up.
- Go to the 2nd option. “Select emulator for ROM”
- Change this to lr-falpha or lr-mame2010.
- The default for Arcade is lr-mame2003, so if you accidentally changed the first option by mistake change it back to lr-mame2003.
- Go down to Launch. It’ll remember your choice.
- If it still doesn’t work, repeat and choose a different emulator.
- If you’re still having problems contact us and we will test which emulator to use.
